Still working on this, but as of this morning the outline I have for our discussion on Sunday is to take a look at the issue of "Idolatry" from a fresh (if possible) perspective.
For those of you that have a copy of C.S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce", you may want to read or refresh you memory with the section in storyline that covers the conversation of the woman who had lost her son when he was a baby and now expects that getting to "heaven" means she gets her son back. So here is the idea - how do we (or can we) hold on to (or want to have) things we cherish without making them into idols? Oh, and if you get there on time, we may just have some donuts left
