Friday, August 19, 2005 (CST) - Astros Game

Friday, Aug. 19: Astros vs. Brewers

Based on your responses, we will be attending the Friday night game against Milwaukee that begins at 7:05pm.  We will meet at the church at 6:15pm and carpool and/or walk to the ballpark.

These are the details of the Coca-Cola deal for that night: Coca-Cola Value Nights include 4 Mezzanine tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 Cokes, 2 caps with the presentation of 2 (two) labels off of specially-marked 2-liter Coke Classic or Diet Coke bottles for only $55.

So, let us know if you can provide a label from a 2 liter to help get this deal.  Also, please let us know as soon as possible if you can come so we can buy tickets early.  Depending on what the box office allows, I may also need someone to go with me to purchase tickets if one person cannot buy more than one set of tickets with the deal.

**Please start bringing your $13.75 as soon as you can (this Sunday if possible) and give to either Deji or me so we can get the tickets at least a week before the game.**

Also, RSVP via Evite at - http://www.evite.com/ct@fumc-ct.org/astros0819

Hope to see you all there!

Kim

  • This Present Darkness
I read this in high school and it was the most descriptive and imaginative book I have read. It may be fiction, but it gets you thinking of all the spiritual warfare that constantly surrounds us.

  • Better Days [CD]
My initial exposure to RSB did not strike me as anything special or different but I really like their music now and seem to listen to this CD all the time. The CD will stand up not just to other Christian worship music but with anything out there in
